In which Year and from who Mexico Won it’s Independence?

On 16^th September 1810, Mexico announced its independence, and Spain recognized them in 1821. Mexico is one of the biggest countries with population of 111 millions. It’s located in North America. For centuries Mexico was considered as the hunter gatherers land. Mexico has the largest Native American population in this continent. In 1848, Mexico lost an extensive piece of land to United States. Mexico is named after the Aztec’s capital, Mexico Tenochtitlan.
