Marisa Tomei was born on 4th December, 1964 in Brooklyn. Her mother was a Teacher and her father was a trial lawyer. While in school she participated in several plays and was attracted towards theatre. She got her first film,’ The Flamingo Kid’ in 1984. After this she acted in CBS series ‘As the world turns’. She also dabbled in theatre and won a Theatre world award for her role in ‘Daughters’.
