When did Dr Seuss Won the Pulitzer Prize?

Dr Seuss (real name Theodor Seuss Geisel) won the Pulitzer Prize in 1984. He got the award for the wonderful movie based on his book, Cat in the Hat. Dr Seuss is a popular children story writer, he was born in 2nd March 1904. Dr Seuss was a cartoonist but he got fame and admiration by his children literature books. He wrote almost 60 children story books that are absolutely priceless for any parent and a child. His dedication and great writing skill has made it possible for him to win Pulitzer Prize. Dr Seuss has also won an Academy Award in 1947 for his awesome documentary film “Death for Design.” Dr Seuss Died at the age of 87 in 1991, his contribution in children story books will always be remembered.
