When is the best time to get pregnant?
The best time to get pregnant is when the woman is in the middle of her menstrual cycle. This part of cycle is called ovulation, because it is a period when egg (latin: ovum) is released from the ovary and is floating down the fallopian tube to the uterus. Ovulation happens in the middle of the 28 days menstrual cycle, usually around day 14. The egg can survive in the uterus only up to 48 hours. You will achieve best results if you organize your intercourse to have it at least three times a week during the fertile period. Because sperm can survive in the uterus up to five days depending on how accomodating is the environment of the uterus. Instead of waiting for the right moment of the ovulation, you can let the sperm to wait for an egg in the uterus. This way, normally fertile couple has an 80-85% chance to concieve a child in the first year.
